Fabolous' "Soul Tape 2" is one of the best tapes to have come out in the past year

It's probably Fabo the Capo's best body of work. The remixes to those beats were just so lush :ohlawd: Especially the way how Guess Who's Back was modernized. Then when you get past that, every song has some of the most memorable hooks and beats your ears will ever feast on :wow:

I'm surprised that tape didn't get more hype than it did. Fab should continue the whole "radio city music hall" vibe.

The standout songs for me, personally, are Diamonds, St. Elmo's Fire, Life Is So Exciting, Louis Vuitton, Want You Back, and Beauty

It's ironic you post this. I was watching the Knicks game last night, and some dude pulls up on my block at a red light blasting "Transformation" out his whip. I never f*cked with Fab so this sounded foreign to me. I stood at my window like :ahh:

I then searched up the lyrics that caught my ear "But when the sun shines no one carries umbrellas, And if they did we would look at them as dumb fellas" I found the song bumped it, then I found the tape.

Had this tape on repeat ever since :blessed:

I don't see what opinion is so outlandish :rudy: It was arguably a top 10 mixtape of 2012 and Fabolous' best full body of work.

It's easily one of my top 5 mixtapes maybe ever. Really it'snot even a mixtape, it's album quality.

Fabs wordplay is sick. You can listen to it and get something new every time. You can tel on that new single with Chris Brown he dumbed his lyrics down....but ST2 is raw Fab.
