I support this 100%.
My aunt had thieves raid a grocery store she was working at and it was one of the most scariest experiences of her life. The cops still don't have a suspect.
Not sure it will be 100 effective for thieves since they usually wear masks but it's a good start.

Yeah, most major metro areas have CCTV recording public spaces. One of the reasons crime was trending down for years is because law enforcement had access to footage of people/vehicles moving around.

This retailer using this is just another crime prevention/crime solving measure.

I believe the OP footage is from Portland. That"abolishing police""defunding police" campaign out there didn't produce the results they thought it would.
