I can see Chris returning as a born again Christian or something along those lines. Him turning down weed and trying to stay out of the debauchery could still be funny. The only acceptable plot is if the film is about Pop's memorial. Would nice to see them show love to the members of the cast that have passed away over the years, too.

with chris tucker returning, the film could definitely work, and be funny if they have the right writers etc...
the problem is chris would be literally carrying the movie on his back. Hed be the face of the movie and everyone would be interested in it if we knew he was involved, plus all the other things you mentioned like shouting out the departed..
