Despite bein an athiest, i had an islamic education since i was 5. I memorised half of the quran by the time i was 14. Ive pretty much forget everything, though I still,know the basic tenants.

Traumatic childhood events, i started educating myself about science, I didnt believe even as a youngin that my non muslim friends were going to hell just because they were born to the wrong parents., I thought to myself my good friends did nothing wrong except be in a wrong religion and theyre going to burn in hell for an eternity yet Ahmed the neighbourhood pedophile is going to heaven just because he was a muslim and he performed Hajj, to me that was the ultimate injustice and I used have nightmares as a kid thinking about this. Too many moral inconsistencies in the quran for a book that purports to be the moral compass of the islamic world. Ive always questioned my faith.
