To a certain degree comic books and video games have always been acceptable in hip-hop and sports. I mean you had shaq with his super man thing and wu-tang clan on their comic and kung fu steez. I kinda feel where threadstarter is coming from, it's moreso the fact that they're only coming out now because it's popular and they see there's lots of money to be made off the industry.
Trendwhores are the worse. It's like all the white people who jumped on the late 90's early 00's hip hop train but didn't respect the culture.

THAT'S THE PROBLEM I THINK. THESE HOES IS TRICKING THE REAL NERDS INTO THINKING THEY WANT THEM. THEM NERDS IS GETTING FURIOUS. THESE BROADS IS MODELS WHO FAKE THE INTEREST TO SELL PRODUCTS. IT'S KINDA FUNNY AND fukkED UP AT THE SAME TIME.
I don't mind the models tbh. If a comic nerd thinks he can get with that model just because she's pretending to like comics, he's got other issues to deal with. I'm talking about the average white liberal chick who acts all condescending because she read 1-2 graphic novels to appear hipster/indie when a few years back she was laughing at dudes in the comics section of Borders. I've seen this with other "fads," I'm just a bit sad it happened to comics. Not saying women can't enjoy or just read comics for fun or whatever, but I really can't stand the type of ho who acts like she's something special and worthy of acting snobby just because she picked up a copy of Snyder's Batman to add to her whole hipster shytck.
