Fallout 4 is disappointing.

It really hurts me to say this but I put in about 3 hours in F4, I just got it yesterday, and I really have no urge to pick it up again anytime soon.

The whole engine feels ancient, the graphics are horrendous, and I'm experiencing slow downs and just overall clunky controls. Oh, and fukk the dog by the way. Seriously looked for ways of getting rid of him. SMH.

Another franchise bites the dust? First Halo, now Fallout? my childhood

I actually beat the game and all side quests, but i agree with you. It was a disappointment. Still a good game; just not great. I put over 75 hours in, and thought the locations and side quests (for the most part) were a disappointment.

You will know about 8 hours in or so.

I have to say that I have no desire to pick it back up myself. I did a bunch of side missions and it is just too familar to FO3/NV.

I bought it and played it for 5 hrs and got motion sickness off the garbage graphics. Couldn't pick it up again after that.

At one point I got stuck in this endless loop where I would die as soon as I spawned next to some bandits. Game took me back to horrible pc gaming in a bad way.

it's good if you never played Fallout 3 or NV. If you have, it's a disappointment. It's Fallout 3.5 with worse locations and story

The OP does know you can send your followers back home you can always do the game solo.

Also you only played 3 hours and complaining at least beat the game first and then complain... have an overall view of it.

Do bethesda need a new game engine?!? I believe so.. maybe in the next fallout game we will see some new shyt.

To be fair, it's the lowest scoring Bethesda WRPG. It's in the mid-80s, while their other games are in the 90s. I agree, it should be reviewed even lower though. It's more fps oriented than rpg oriented, and should be reviewed as so. The shooting is . The game is about exploration and even that kinda sucked.

It was my biggest disappointment of the year. I was expecting a 10/10 game with great exploring and side quests. Instead, I got a 7 or 8/10 game with 50% bullshyt locations, bad exploration, and shytty side quests (for the most part)
