We should just have our own media then we wouldn't have to worry about that and our talent could stay here.

Mainstream British media doesn't even come close to representing the black community properly and that's not gonna change anytime soon.

This is the type of shyt that irks me because it shows how taboo "blackness" still is in 2018 and also how small of a box black people are still in.

All races of people (including blacks) would do a double take at those posters even if it didn't have the "if you're surprised..." captions.

Not only the rest of the world, but we as blacks aren't used to seeing OURSELVES outside of the normal stereotypes (hip-hop, sports, thugs, etc).

Black people owning and controlling little of the media and thus not controlling our own image and perception to the world has done more damage than most of us are aware of.

The damage is mainly a psychological one.

The J*ws created Hollywood for a reason :sas2:
