ATLANTA (Twitter/Michael Wade/CNN) - A baseball fan died Saturday night after he fell from the upper deck during an Atlanta Braves game.
The Atlanta Braves tweeted: "We have received confirmation that the fan involved in the accident ... has passed away. The Atlanta Braves offer their deepest condolences to the family."
The man was sitting in the second deck of Turner Field while watching the Braves play the New York Yankees.
Officials said he fell head over feet out of the stands during the seventh inning and hit a concrete walkway in front of a row of fans.
Cellphone video shows medical personnel carrying the man from the stands.
Fans were escorted from the section as he received medical attention.
An Atlanta police spokesman had said earlier that the man was hospitalized in "grave condition."
Police are trying to figure out why he fell.
The game continued.
