Fans kneel in support of Colin Kaepernick outside Ravens practice

Outside of M&T Bank Stadium, a group of fans showed their support for former Niners quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

The Ravens held the third of their three open practices on Saturday morning, which could be attended at no charge. Among those who made their way to M&T Bank stadium were a group of fans who held signs showing their support of Kaepernick coming to Baltimore.

Last month, the Ravens confirmed they had spoken to Kaepernick about the possibility of joining the Ravens. A few veterans, including Terrell Suggs, were not opposed to the idea. However, as of now, Kaepernick is still without a team. The Seahawks also were reportedly interested in bringing Kaepernick on board, but ultimately passed on the opportunity as well.

Later this month, a rally for Kaepernick is expected to take place at the NFL’s headquarters in New York, which Spike Lee shared some details of.

Why beg for a rich man to have a job at the NFL even .
Why do folks like you always make it about the individual? Like when Kaep protests, and racists far and wide scream "look how much we (as if their loser asses had anything to do with it) have given him! Yeah so much oppression he has faced with his millions of dollars!" If you think people want to see Kaep be employed because it's about him as an individual, you are grossly missing the point. People want to see Kaep be employed because 1) yes, as an individual he deserves it.. but more importantly 2) it is an indictment on our society that someone who takes a quiet, non-violent stance against oppression and police violence can somehow be such a controversial figure that he can't get employed in the league again. His continued employment in the NFL should also represent more than just his bank account; it should represent the ability of anyone to take a stance that is important (but may be unpopular with lots of fans) without being punished

Why beg for a rich man to have a job at the NFL even . I support his decision but the whole thing is history now. Let it go stop begging, hes not coming back because he will anger a lot of fans. It's okay because now he has time to pursue his real passion: activism

If a lot of the top black players in a majority black sport spoke out and said something they really wouldn't have much choice. If those contracts were guaranteed you would probably see more of this already.

This ......They dont owe Kaep anything. They have obligation to feed their friends and family. They will never fukk with their livelihood to help a man that's not blood. It seems you guys are not used to some of these ugly truths of life. :comeon:. They should speak out but they can't anger fans and management, and get kicked out of the NFL, because there will be another hungry, better, faster, more athletic player to take his place and feed his own family :russ:

You're missing the point. No one is begging.

Repeatedly asking someone for something when he or she made up his or her mind, in order to change the outcome is begging.

NFL owners and a large paying fanbase fans don't want Kaep. They don't wanna lose money. It's business. U guys waste time beating around the bush
