. . .once upon a time . . I seen Cold Crush bring an SP out on stage and make beats on the spot while the others rhymed. . . .. shyt was dope and overshadowed the intent of the party . .. . what was supposed to be the release for Organized Konfusion - Numbers single. . . . . Pharaohe was a no-show . .. Po showed up in a cab with a baby-blue motorcycle supercross jersey and wind-resistant parachute pants over the baggy jeans .. - eyes beyond red . .. . he saw all the white "underground" heads outside and said he aint comin in until he gets a raise . .. . . . i feel like Company Flow was also there as an opening act . . .. it was supposed to be X-Men vs Scrtach Piklz . . . but it was really Mister Synystr and Total Eclipse vs DJ Flare and D-Styles. . .. seen mister out in the crowd and told him "good luck" .. . we both laughed . .. we knew it was the beginning of the shift . .. . . the underground was gettin bled with the venom . .. . Internet just started bubblin back then . .. . . Sandbox Automatic helped push the the Cage / Crumple suburb sounds . .. . i remember the white-label M&M records om the Fat Beats wall with the candy logo stamped on them . .. . i passed .. . . by then . . .. i wanted to hear Godfather Don rap over the OGC - Gunn Clap beat. ..
