I should join the NOI cuz I came to all these conclusions in the video after my first semester of college Unfortunately, our brothas and sistas in Corporate America, the government, the military, etc think they are living the American Dream. They think they are black excellence and doing it for the race, making it easier for the next generation. They think being the 1st Black person to do something is an accomplishment. The truth is there were hundreds of black people before you who should have been given the opportunity decades ago. The sad thing is we are working and hustling so hard but because our race is at the bottom, none of us are getting paid what we are truly worth.

I don't think we will ever make real progress because of the culture of individualism in America. White people can get away with having individualism. Black people can't. Being accomplished employees for white owned corporations won't help the future generations.

This reminds me of why I got into my own business. One reason is I was sick and tired of making othe rpeople richer, and building the dreams of people who didn't care about me in the long run.

Also, alot of black people are deluded into thinking that success is defined by working for someone else.
