Thanks. Saw recent Kool Rock Ski clip of him getting inducted into National Hip Hop Museum. Couldn't believe he looks younger NOW , then he did in Krush Groove. Knew he got into fitness hears ago, but was still surprised. Good for him.

Kool Rock Ski was NICE!! People don’t really bring him up a lot when it comes to MC's. But dude was really dope in the 80's. The Fat Boys were one of the first groups I got into as a kid. They were mad popular in NYC, so during the early days, for me, everything was Fat Boys, Run DMC and LL.

Doug E is a legend. But he lies way too much.
But Kurtis Blow and Run both said most people know that Buff was the one that started with the beatbox first. Even as a fan. we heard Fat Boys years before Doug E's records came out with Rick. So for him to still be saying he "created" the beatbox is wild.
Not surprising though because dude was always wild shady in the business, which is why they pretty much forced him out. He's a thief like Puff. Always has been.
