:what: :pachaha: :mjlol::mjtf:

Ludicrous.

I'd walk away from the counter if someone charged me $25 for that $11.99 plate.

You can't sell that up here when we've got West Indian spots on the opposite block.

For $25 across the street i can get like a pound of butter tender jerk pork, delicious steamed veg n a ton of savory flavorful rice n peas....plus a festival stick.

That spot wouldn't last long.

this nikka whole page is some grade A bullshyt. Stealing people money from them plates. At the end of the day cooking at home is way cheaper than eating out. And that's comin from a nikka who's discretionary budget is spent 80% on eating out

I can go to Jewel (grocery store) up here in Chicago, get a 8 piece on Cheap Chicken Monday for $6, buy a carb and vegetables and still not spend $25

Barbecue is the art of turning economically accessible meat cuts into enjoyable eating

This isn’t that, and at that price point it will not last long

@ OP stop associating appreciation for food with the end result of undisciplined habits

We are physiological beings that require food

You’re either going to be a mindless consumer, a conscientious consumer or a producer - you pick
