that song was perfectly aimed at joe. all the subliminals, the shyt about the first rhyme you wrote in 94, your video is the only time you bust your steal, real gangsta dont talk shyt in magazines, "and thats the real reason why you cant flow" lines ... everything had a target. even the krs sample dissing joe, when joe idolizes him. his lines were all at joe but he said it on the low. ace is sharp.

but I heard joe checked him in the flesh and ace shut up about it :krs:

Fat Joe is Hip-Hop.

Like it or not.

He is.

He has if not some of the TOP Hip-Hop BEATS EVER in East Coast History.

I just wish he didn't say anything to 50. Not on no bytch-shyt but what he has done in Hip-Hop, there was no point. Should of pulled the Jay-Z route.

Crazy how times changed.

Joe is downplaying his history like crazy there. Flashing his cards as a b-boy, rather than a goon.

Now hes Joe Crack the Don lol...

I still respect how hes kept his name alive over the years, and makes pretty solid music most of the time.

Fat Joe was drug dealing.
Fat Joe was a graff artist.
Fat Joe has classic Hip-hop songs.
Fat Joe was raised in the true era of hip-hop and it shows in his early works.

But with your suburb mentality somebody can't sell crack and do graff all at the same time huh

haven;t heard that song in minute since i broke an external a couple of years ago that had a folder with alot of b-sides, random 90's singles etc on it.

Joe most likely checked him... he always says something like he's punked more rappers from BK than anywhere else but never named names.. i assume Ace on that list.

Im not sure if this is a response to what I wrote....

If it is, what I was saying was that Joes history is well-documented. Everyone knows he was a true b-boy, as well as a hustler.

Its just funny how he was downplaying one aspect of himself back then (when being a crack-dealer was less appealing), and how he became Joe Crack and really exploited his hustling past in the late 90s onwards...

unkut.com – A Tribute To Ignorance (Remix)

Not to bring up bad blood, but how are things with Fat Joe now?

That’s mad old, that’s like ninety…I believe in settling things like men. I don’t believe in talkin’ stuff in magazines and radio stations – I go to the person and talk to them to their face. I knew that eventually we was gonna see each other, and we saw each other. We were face-to-face, he said how he felt, I said how I felt and that was pretty much the end. We shook hands afterwards! It could got heated and turned into something else, but it didn’t.
