Celebs are always gonna get shallow comments from the public about their appearances (especially when their appearances change) and shyt but it's still silly to say her celeb has been magnified when she's been one of the highest selling artists in the world for over a decade. I mean she already won Grammy's, already did a James Bond theme, how much more in demand can she be than she already has been? Plus there are thousands of skinny, "conventionally attractive" female singers who aren't even coming close to touching Adele's fame when she was fat.

she can make faux female empowerment and "fun" music now with her new image. BEefore she was limited to that sad "he did me wrong, but I'll overcome" woe is me music

they mad for the same reason fat chicks hang out with other fat chicks they don't want to be challenged just accepted
It’s a good way to hide insecurity. They create a bubble and roll together, ignoring the other people at the bar/club/restaurant. Just like they create these bubbles online where they hate on healthy size women. But it’s not hard to tell they’re miserable. You online talking about you’re as healthy as anyone knowing damn well you almost collapsed after walking up three flights of stairs yesterday.

Women are harder on other women about our bodies and our decisions. I’m an overweight woman who was dangerously thin in my teens and early twenties to compete with the wrong folks. After gaining a lot of weight in my twenties that I couldn’t lose in my thirties I’m trying harder in my forties. Men will just tell me don’t get too thin. Women will pick apart everything I do, question why I am doing it, and give me all kinds of unsolicited advice. When you do something they can’t do (get a man, a better job, lose weight, improve anything in your life) some women are miserable losers who will attack you for doing you.

This has always been my issue with the masses of black folk who support Adele. Where was that support for Jill Scott and Angie Stone? No one can say Adele sings better than them, yet neither of them will ever see that level of success.
You just mentioned two singers who are notorious for having horrible attitudes, treating their staff and musicians poorly. Jill Scott has a beautiful voice but burned a lot of bridges on the way up. She is truly one of my favorite singers. I’ve worked two music festivals where she was the headliner and I could not believe how rude she is. For no reason. People fall at her feet and we don’t say no to anything a performer asks for but it’s not enough for her. She was a total see you next Tuesday. White singers also fall off for tearing people poorly.

From right-wing, to Adele, to TariqThis is what happens when you live through others. People forget that else people are human too and just cause they have some kind of impact on your life doesn't mean that they have the similar thoughts as you.

Once the person they idolize does something they are against then its all kind of name calling, judgement, etc. Its corny imo but thats what happens when you place a person on a God like pedestal.
