This is what we get for making unhealthy food more easily accessible and cheaper than healthy food.

This is what we get for not making sports and play a rewarding part of youth and instilling a love of physical activity early in kids.

This is what we get for not investing in subsidized child care so kids can go to day care and eat healthy while parents are at work

And this is is what we get for not teaching teenagers about child development, mental health and parenting early. Our system assumes a 2 parent household with one parent working a max of 40 hours a week who can instill these lessons into their kids. Overworked parents throw a bucket of kfc at a screaming child so they can have a moments peace. The result is a child that associates food as a coping strategy.

Its not a coincidence that this isn't a big problem in countries like Canada, New Zealand, Finland, Germany, Denmark, or Norway.

Shortphobia:

Shortphobia is the erasure of short men, unless they can play the jester role like Kevin Hart.

It leads to uncomfortable and intruding questions from women such as

“Can you touch the rim?”

“What’s your verticals?”

“How will we look if I’m wearing heel?”

Short men aren’t the problem, shortphobia is.

That video was hilarious.

I guess it depends on what you call a "problem" if heart disease, organ failure, lower quality of life, diabetes, lower productivity lower self esteem, and higher rates of depression, aren't problems to you then guess being fat isn't a problem.

bm and bw have the highest rates of being overweight or obese for either gender in this country, we also have lower life expectancy rates. Some of that is tied to poverty which leads to poor diets. The other part is cultural we don't believe in exercise as a culture that isn't tied to playing a professional sport.

Most of the women in that video were black, us having a mindset where obesity is acceptable is as dangerous as believing poverty is acceptable.

It doesn't bode well for our future as a people.

Sometimes I watch old shows and documentaries and you realize people were much skinnier before

It's like watching an old r&b music video and realizing half the video models were just slim with cute faces

There's just too much access to fast food which makes sense because the daily 9-5 grind makes it hard to try to cook your meals at home or even meal prep

Smh fatphobia.....the more in shape you are, the more in demand you'll be...take notes

Nah, people are lazy.

I meal prep every Saturday or Sunday. You don't even have to workout, just eat less. And if you ask most folks, they aint doing shyt after work, 30 minutes of cardio 5 days a week can help a lot

No excuses.
