A continuation of my "Favorite track off a Classic or Great album" threads. Yesterday I covered Snoop Dogg's "Doggystyle" in which the majority voted for "Tha Shiznit". Today it will be Dr.Dre's classic, "2001". A personal favorite of mine & another classic under Dre's belt. It was also the first time Eminem was introduced to the masses (correct me if I'm wrong)& the only time I ever liked him on anything:manny:
A lot that has been said about the album has been said a million times. The production is banging & has a ton of quotables. If you wanna know more about the album as well as what people thought about it, then check out the homie @K-Slim thread in which I will link below. :salute: The gap between this and The Chronic was large as well. Too bad I can't say the same thing about Detox :francis::mjcry:. My favorite track on here has to be "Xxplosive" just off the strength of Nate Dogg's hook:mjcry: What's your favorite track off the album? & if you can, explain.

Coming up next is Ice Cube's "AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted"

:salute:to the OP. Love this album. Bumped on the ride home from work today.

I usually say Xxplosive or Still DRE but it could easily be Big Egos, What's The Difference, Forgot About Dre, Next Episode, and so on. There's no wrong answer.

Imma vote Big Egos this time. Probably my 2nd favorite instrumental off the album behind Xxplosive.
