"Who's the best: Pac, Nas and Big?"
A continuation of my "Favorite track off a Classic or Great album" threads. Yesterday I covered Dr.Dre's "2001" in which "Xxplosive" outright took the vote. Today it will be Ice Cube's classic, "AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted". AMW has to be one of my favorite albums of all time. Prime Cube was arguably one of the greatest to ever do it. The mans 3 album run is only matched by a few others such as, Pac with MATW, AEOM, & 7DT & Redman with W?TA, DIAD,& MW. I'm sure there's a few others as well. The production on the album was handled by Public Enemy's production crew, The Bomb Squad in which they do an amazing job with the beats.
At Rolling Stone criticizing the production.
Their score of the album. This album shows Cube at his most militant if the title of the album didn't give away what the subject matter of most of the album would be. Hard hitting lyrics by Cube &
Production is guaranteed on this album. This also doesn't include the excellent "Kill at Will" EP. Countless rappers have been influenced by the social, and political commentary on this album. You can tell Pac was influenced heavy by this album especially if you listen to his first 2 albums. East Coast cats have been influenced by the album as well such as Nas & Biggie. My favorite Cube album as well as a top 10 album IMO.
Favorite track on here is a tough one but for right now I'll go with "The nikka Ya Love to Hate" . "fukk You Ice Cube. Yeah, HaHa, It's The nikka Ya Love To Hate."
