I didn’t know you were in Charlotte too! For some reason I thought you were in SC.
For a place to stay? No. That's crazy either way. A few people have hit me up, to check on me, and, I have texted people who I care about to one degree or another, some I hadn't talked to in a while, and obviously aware that that maintaining some kind of momentum, for when this has subsided, but everyone is in a sort of holding pattern, not a great time for flings or more casual sex.
However, I cannot imagine living with someone in a one bedroom, with financial stressors, and pandemic paranoia infiltrating daily lives. Total nightmare. I love laying in bed alone, and comfortable.
This is also the most disastrous event in all of our lifetimes, lives upended, and thrown into distress, instantly, so, if there was an ever universally acceptable time to check in on someone, or send "I just wanted to say hi" or whatever, it would be now.
