Depends on the rest of the suit breh.

Personally speaking I think brown shoes go nicely with with a grey suit but as I said it depends.

I prefer to wear black shoes and black dress belts. I stay away from brown shoes and brown dress belts. That's just me. Nothing personal.

this is more than just dress shoes, when it comes to dress shoes I only rock black. But i like my casual shoes and my boots to be brown because I like the look of them with jeans, especially dark jeans

You should really have both, but if you're a young dude just starting to get a professional wardrobe together then get black first for sure. It's a no brainer. Black shoes, black belt, black watchband.

Im a paramedic, so I dont need a lot of professional attire, so I have just black dress shoes, but when it comes to my casual shoes and boots I really like brown much more better
