Its a tough situation.

The right thing to do is intervene but u could put urself in harms way and she may go back to him anyway.

My obligation is to protect the women in my family and within my boundaries. Neither of which she is in.

Who knows if dude had a gun or a knife. Who knows if you start fighting him and beating him up, if she will jump in and help him fight you.
