Every time he sees me he wants to greet me with that "homie over hoes" dance from the Boondock's. At first I was like nah, I'm not doing that shyt but he kept insisting so I eventually gave in. Keep in mind there is a chick with him who is straight from brazil.



After we all get to talking for a while, this guy randomly says up "Oh by the way Reggie can rap!".

This was the moment for me.


The guy knows damn well I don't go around rapping, but he thinks since I did it once back in high school for a class project that I'm down to do that kinda shyt on the regular. After saying that, he had the girl all gassed up asking me to do it. Again, I gave in.



It didn't really hit me till after, but I've realized anytime I'm around the guy and someone I don't know, he's quick attach me to stereotypical black shyt. It stood out to me this time especially because it felt like he was showing me off to the Brazilian chick as typical tapdancing nikka. I swear man

I don't see how people can be "blind" to that. People of different colors can just take what others see as cultural differences and substitute it in another ethnicity's culture. I.E. Blacks and chicken to Koreans and dogs, Mexicans and border crossing to Arabs and taliban. They don't have to be the same but I'm sure you get my point.
