Can't wait for the inevitable "grappling is superior to striking" folks
It's a different ART. I'm taking BJJ now after getting my black belt in Tang Soo Do and it's very very tough learning an entirely new skill set.
I can tell you just from the light sparring when the mat opens up there's so many openings to layout a grappler it's not even funny.
Plus those boxers couldn't punch her. Otherwise she gets slept quick.

How would grappling fare against boxing? I’m curious. Either art form is amazing to analyze imo.

I swear the fact that you spend so much time learning how to fall correctly as a grappler is like an instant benefit. For a lotta people, falling in a fight = instant L. For grapplers they literally wanna take it to the ground.Grappling + Striking > Grappling > Striking
