When you go deeper into the first wave of abolitionists using the anti-slave cause to backdoor women's rights and follow that into the second wave and put bell hooks in context to the impetus of feminism, they'll really lose it. I had a ethics professor call herself a feminist, she always had to speak about black causes analogous to feminism until I called her out on it in the middle of class. Deaded that whole shtick.
