If it makes you feel any better breh, there is so much piff this season that you will forget that you got spoiled on this by the time its over. Furthermore, what you read is only a fraction of the whole story, there is still plenty of stuff to discover as it pertains to that part of the story

Sorry you got spoiled, but it is the OP's fault for not putting "Spoilers" in the thread title. This is obviously a topic that would attract book readers and show watchers both, it should have been stated more clearly from the start.

the OP put up a spoiler warning midway through his post and did not type anything about this being a spoiler friendly zone. I deduced from the title of this thread that a feminist has an opinion about the dwarf and wrote about. it should be standard by now (I thought it was) to automatically put up spoiler tags UNLESS the thread title clearly states spoilers accepted. I'm sure there is a ridiculous amount of piff to come this season but this shyt this nikka just spoiled is MAJOR. yeah you know its coming but you don't know when or how. one of my fav aspects of this series is its ability to catch me off guard w/ sudden and unexpected murders. thanks to the a$$hole quite possibly THE MOST SATISFYING murder has been ruined for me. I'm going to be watching all season just waiting for this event to happen.....

Is Tyrion a misogynist? Maybe. But Show Tyrion is different from Book Tyrion, who is significantly darker as a character.

You have to consider that Tyrion has been shat on his ENTIRE life. His father hates him, his sister hates him, the people hate him...literally the only person who is truly his friend is Jaime, and the only other living family member who treats him fairly is his uncle Kevan (ie the guy in S1 who suggested the Lannisters sue for peace). The only women he can possibly be with are whores. No matter how nice he is to a woman he cannot make one fall in love with him, without paying her at some point. So his views of women are quite warped by his experiences.

Remember last season when he told Sansa he wouldn't share her bed unless she wanted, and she asked what if she never wants to share it? That crushed him. He's been nice to her ever since she came to court. He defended her against Joffery and has never hurt her, yet she won't even let him sleep in the bed.

I'd say the article is ultimately stupid overall in the sense that nearly EVERYONE was misogynist in a medieval society. She is applying current gender and equality views to a completely different society than ours. One where fathers sell their daughter's virginity for armies. fukk that.
