    The local news coverage was infuriating tonight with the constant conflating of the excessive force used to basically set up martial law in the neighborhood and the looting that happened last night...there was a point where they were showing live footage of cops in full fukking riot gear pointing rifles and launching tear gas at people standing peacefully IN THEIR OWN fukkING BACKYARD, all the while the reporter is talking ignoring completely what's happening and instead repeating over and over again how Mike's mother was disappointed that people were looting...I knew they would use that as an excuse to muddy the narrative but the sh!t drives me crazy...the cops are audibly trying to intimidate the camera crews there into leaving so they don't film them terrorizing people standing in their own yard, and the on-air people completely no-sell the sh!t...there's a city alderman named Antonio French that's been doing a great job of documenting a lot of the goings on the past couple days, a lot has been posted in this thread...they finally decided to show some of his footage on-air, and instead of showing the most surreal footage of the pigs marching down west florrisant like a goddamned occupying army with the armored trucks and suited up like storm troppers...they run the loop of the protesters standing on their cars...i refuse to believe that a soul walking could come across that footage and just go :manny: and decide not to air it, without consciously deciding to avoid
