care to explain?

im interested :ohhh:

Theyve had a bunch of belts for years. WCW had a bunch of belts at their peak. The belts are supposed to be an asset to booking, but are looked at as meaningless because of shytty booking instead. If they had less belts with so many guys on the roster without direction, most of the shyt they put out there would seem even more of a waste of time than it already does.

but to have two belts that are pretty much the same, according to their history, a good idea?

what if they kept one and brought in the TV title?

do you think with all this talent, they should go back to the brand split?

1. They havent done a good job of differentiating the two. They'd be better off having only foreign wrestlers be in the running for the IC, Americans for the US and bringing back King of the Ring to culminate an annual battle between the two. Winner could even be granted a title shot at the World Belt at another PPV. :manny:
2. I always thought the TV title was the most pointless one. Would prefer the Cruiserweight if they were going to add another.
3. Not sure how I feel about another brand split. I wasnt a big fan back when it first happened, and I dont think now is the time due to TV contracts etc...could work though. Wouldnt be against it at all.

Personally since they bought WCW I never saw the need for the IC title. Especially since Intercontinental literally means "across continent" or "all continent" which translates to either the North American title or World title. It just comes off redundant to me

Thats what the US Title should be, something for the lower midcarders

United States
Intercontinental
World (This means they can defend in the Ocean)

if i was gonna differentiate the two, I might have the US title be for guys like sheamus, ryback, big e, ect and the IC strap be more for technical guys. Spotlight the US belt on Raw, and the IC belt on Smackdown

Nah there's an over-abundance of high-level dudes who would be main eventing SmackDown or ECW if the brand split was still alive. A championship keeps guys like those relevant, even if it's just a midcard belt. Furthermore, you have the jobbers/low-midcard people who have to fight for TV time. Why not let them scrap over a Main Event Superstars Sunday Night Heat Jakked Metal level belt like the Light Heavyweight title from Attitude Era.
