Inland Port. Perots were right to be scared because of the better location, in regards to import/export with better access to Houston and easier east/west routing. You can see today with all of the new logistics operations going up along I-20 that this area was ripe for being a huge success. As much disdain as I hold for JWP just for that, I really hate how Dallas seems to still kiss the Perot's asses even though they have done nothing but lure business away from Dallas(they were part of the Legacy business park group in Plano and developed Alliance Airport). They also didn't fullfil their development promise on Victory Park. Now they are bullshyting us with their plan to keep AT&T downtown, so the powers that be are kissing their asses again. Watch them lure AT&T to a suburban development. Why are Dallas prominents always the worst enemy of the city?

I don't get it. From Laura Miller to the Perots, these people don't care about Dallas proper. I don't follow things as closely as you but to me Mayor Rawlings seems more like a 'can do' type of guy. I've heard he's working behind the scenes to bring the Rangers downtown. What do you think of him?

Its a black Dallas history lesson in here. I have heard so much about drama in Dallas, Detroit and DC from family and friends over the years.
When a man says its on site next time he sees you then he means that. It can be a gospel radio station, Walmart parking lot or even in Heaven the next time he sees you its on.
