Fighting Covid-19

Hey all, just wanted to make a thread about the best ways we have heard to fight off covid-19 once you have it, or may think you are getting it. Some know that i am 90% sure i have it. I did not officially test but my girl works at a hospital and as an elementary school teacher i have already been exposed to most flu strains. Since March 25th i have had constant diarreah, acid reflux, shortness of breath and a load of congestion. The misinformation regarding this virus has been the worst part about finding OTC drugs and supps to help fight this. So far i have heard, and this is from research and word of mouth.

The Good

1. Vitamin c supps (i use emergen-cee 1000 mg)
2. Tylenol - for pain relief and lower fever
3. Mucinex Chest D- Clear out the throat
4. Gargle salt water
5. elduberry- boost your immune
6. Zinc
7. Hot Steam
8. Stop Anxiety calming rub/meds calm your mind. A stressed out person will have worse immune
9.Tumeric- boost immune, fight inflamation and joint pain
10. Oregeno Oil- anti-oxidant boost
11. Drink Hot Liquids- Helps push the clogged virus and mucus down throat and into your stomach where stomach acids will kill virus.
12. Hot coffee- Inflammation and mood/energy

13. Boil water self steam with towel wrap- this worked for me as a temporary relief to my breathing.

The MIGHT BE bad


1. Advil/ ibuprofen- Ace inhibiting is rumored to make virus stronger
2.Cold water- Drinking icy or cold water bad for your throat and lungs
3. Ignoring signals such as cold shivers/ dry cough etc.- dont ignore! Get on top of this early!
4. Smokers Stop!- I only smoke trees (was doing bong rips only as of now for less smoke) and i stopped yesterday totally when i noticed i definitely felt more constriction)

Feel free anyone to add. The worst part for me is that I feel mentally unstable and never sure if i should rest or hit the ER. My main concern is my breathing. I f i had to describe it it would be the fact that i have to THINK ABOUT BREATHING right now instead of just breathing and walking around like normal. Im isolated and have spent ,most of the day napping. I hope that our conversations about this will help not only physically but also releive some mental anguish as i have found comfort from this board knowing im not the only one sick. Lets help each other beat this shyt.

Also anything that can take my mind off my breathing has helped. Was able to watch 35 min. of tiger king:lolbron: (before fatigue set and had to nap) and definitely got to take my mind away from how i feel. Trying to stay positive is hard. Id also say avoid the horror stories people are telling about the virus, shyt been terrible for my mental:mjcry:
