Say what you want but the way they animated the background story of how he actually became Tobi is pretty damn good and real talk one of the best and rawest Shippudden episodes ever.

The way he manipulated Nagato from the early Akatsuki days was crazy. They are really fleshing out his background and overall story in the anime pretty damn good. I actually like it.
