Filing taxes, How Do You File Them?

It's my first time doing them, I keep hearing "TurboTax" or H&R Block, but I'd rather do the shyt myself if possible. Any advice?

Turbo tax is doing it by yourself. Go to the site. And choose free return. If you're single with no kids, then it's easy. Just input your numbers and the computer handles it.

Huh? Turbotax been runnin' that 'absolute zero' shyt this year charging nothing to file your federal and state taxes. I go nowhere else but turbotax.

If your SUPER paranoid, go to your local library, get the free tax booklets and forms, read up and mail it in.

what about taxact? I heard a rumor that they were charging for the premium version for certain people but they weren't supposed to. Might be wrong so don't take my word for it. I do know there was something going on. Maybe someone else read the story too.
