Let's see where everybody stands...poll expires before election day.

Last call before they actually happen. What specific outcome to you see happening on Nov 6th?

I'ma go with the polls and say Dems win a narrow majority in the House and GOP keeps the senate 51-49. I do think the Democrats will do pretty well in most of the governor races.

Dems aren't projected to narrowly control the house, they are projected to control it by a lot.. so with that, IF the Dems don't regain the house then you can throw out polling completely. 2016 was an "aberration" they said because it's Trump and he narrowly won a few of the Rust Belt states.

Well, there's nothing "narrow" about most of these races in the house, Dems have solid numbers up and down so let's see if polling redeems itself :comeon:

the black cat is my crown...
not a prediction, but a wish list.... i'm with @Paper Boi i, i don't do predictions anymore....

here's what i'm wishing for...
1) at least 218 dem house members...
2) dems win the governorship of at 4 of these five states: wi, mi, pa, oh, fl.... (preferably all 5)...
3) dems at least get 48 senate seats... we may be able to block some judicial nominations if our numbers are that high... if we fall to 44 seats, trump is going to pack the courts.....
4) if dems do 1 - 3, that they take 2020 serious as fukk.... that means strategy, campaigning, messaging, and meaningful policy.... even if trump loses in 2020, there is another trump waiting in the wings and if dems don't meaningfully improve the lives of their constituents, trump 2.0 is going to be far worse than trump 1.0.....

lastly, here's my biggest, bestest wish for election day... i wish that every dem voter goes to the polls and rep voters stay home... .. .

The idea of a "blue wave" seemed irresponsible to push after an election that showed to not take anything for granted. Metaphorically speaking, a wave seems like something that can move a passive person or thing. Like the mobilization was already done. Idk. I'm sure there are more people than me voting "D" down ticket who wouldn't normally.

I think a lot of people who voted Trump out of spite or to "troll" won't show the same enthusiasm on Tuesday.

Hopefully Nap's attempt to disrupt the Democratic party with international relation realist propaganda fails and we can really start draining the swamp.

Depends on first time and unlikely voter turnout vs. the established GOP base.

I just want Jealous to win but I've said on here that the Dems will take the house.

Yeah, I want Jealous to win too but going by the polls, it seems like a pretty long shot. :francis:

As long as the Dems at least win the house I won't consider it an L.

Early voting turnout in Maryland has been insane. More than double 2014. I think we may be underestimating people posting a protest vote against the GOP especially in a state where Dems outnumber GOP 2-1.

I canvassed last weekend and even though Ben doesn't have a lot of visibility due to not having the money Hogan has, a lot of people say they can't vote for a Republican right now. The Trump effect is real here.
