is the day for skinny brehs.Before this year, I'd never really squatted before. Like most novices in the gym, I focused on the upper body shyt and cardio thinking I'd be fine. Did some leg extensions and curls every now and then, but my legs were never really sore at all. It wasn't until I went home and stood in my parent's full body mirror that the horror of my mistake dawned on me
. So 6 months ago I started squatting. That shyt sucked for a good 3 months, just learning my form and trying to figure out my balance. Keep in mind I was a 155 lb cat with chicken legs when I started exercising, so putting up big weight is really not gonna be a thing for me. Anyway, kept at it and finally started seeing some gains. Yesterday, for the first time I did 3 sets of 8 reps at 225, parallel to the floor. Feels good to achieve a goal, brehs.
Now I realize everyone in here does 315x50 ATG, but lemme just celebrate my milestone.
Good to see you are pushing yourself. 2 plate squat is a milestone
