wouldnt this determine the real champion showing the team actually has figured out the other team and is clearly better? instead of each team winning right after each other splitting games wouldnt it make sense that when it gets to game 7 the team would have to have won game 6 if not they play until one team wins 2 games in a row.

that would prove dominance i think this is a good idea. if it goes 20 games it goes 20 games. the mayans used to play to the death you know in their version of basketball.

Nah man. This is why you play well in the regular season and dont bench your players for "meaningless" games. You want the home court advantage in that deciding game to give your players an energy boost if they need it, or boo the shyt outta the other team when theyre at the line late in the game lol
