What are those sources of passive income? If you aren’t willing to share the specifics , do you have any suggestions on passive income streams?
Used to have some land that my family leased out in Arkansas but we sold it since they’re building a stretch of I-69 through the town. The other really isn’t but it’s with some people I built rapport with when I worked DEI in Alabama who did consultant work so they’d bring me in to help analyze surveys, write action plans, etc. paid me a $14,599 lump sum that way I wouldn’t have to pay taxes on it

Im retired for now. I left the door open to return to work, if I needed to, but right now its not currently in the plan.

I got cash on the side to last till at least Jan. Thats including a few vacations and Xmas.

Depending on how the markets doing by Jan/Feb and how much of the cash I go thru, I will make a decision to return to work, or not.

I dont have the exact numbers, but Im probably up close to $100K since puttin my 2 weeks notice in.
Congrats!!

I'm finally in postiin to hang it up also but I'm also likely at the job that will produce my peak career earnings.

So I'm trying to ride it out as long as I can endure or until I find work I'd enjoy even if it's less pay.

Im way too greedy for fire . Golden handcuffs are a real dilemma for me . :francis:

I could probably leave in my late 40s, but peak earning potential is in the 50s. And I don't really want to miss it.

Early retirement for me is probably 59 or 60.
