Word. A lot of modern cuts don't have a drop and don't emphasize your shape because a slim waist is a rarity these days.
Same with legs, I usually buy jeans a couple of sizes too big then get the waist tailored for a better fit because if you go with the regular they expect you to be walking around on toothpicks. Don't get me wrong, I like a slim fit but you shouldn't be able to count the change in my pocket.
Its something I've wondered because any company that specialized in just regular clothes, no logos, but a crisp silhouette would make a lot of money. Especially if the triple stitch, thats all but vanished these days and it used to be staple in the mid range back when.
I really miss the old independent boutique stores though. They all vanished in the mid 00s. We had three of them round my way and they got a handful of exclusive fits in. Once they were sold, that was it so you were guaranteed to be fresh because mass production wasn't on like that yet and they knew their market.
Now you've got people trend hopping with disposable fast fashions or couture which actually isn't as it used to be hand made back in the days and now its outsourced to China then "finished" in France which means they sew the brand label in there and then ship it off to the buyer.
True. also winter jacket can be a night mare to find the right fit. either too small, too big, sleeves too long or short, the length all over the placeFat people don't get it but yeah you right. Finding shirts that fit right are tough as a in shape guy. They are either too loose and make you look like you never worked out or they are too tight and feel like you can't breathe.
My bro you’re a fashion expert too?

Brehs, get a sewing machine and learn how to lightly tailor clothes. Ive tapered every important shirt I have and now everything is flattering. Getting a tailor is needlessly expensive.
