So... if you buy a gun at a gun show as opposed to a gun store you just show you ID and as long as you not underage you can buy a gun?

basically depends on the state but yes show up with id and whatever and you can purchase at the show. Usually with the gun shop/store you have to wait anywhere from 3-5 days (talking about a regular purchase not Silencers or other items they require a stamp)
