If you're going to re-sign Lowry I'd say go after Pau Gasol, a 3 year deal would be about right for him, and since you own the Knicks 2016 pick he wont hurt you much longterm.
There's not much chance you can get Monroe, he's going to be too expensive.

this is same mistake bc made with sam mitchell.
he inherited the job with a dumbass coach and wasn't expecting to do good, got the division and 3rd seed and lost in the first round.

I rather they keep Amir for next year, not spend the money and wait next year for Jefferson or Horford when Amir, Hansbrough and Fields expire. Just sign Lowry and one of Vasquez/Patterson. I don't think they will want to get rid of DeRozan. I don't know if I would trade DeRozan and the 20th pick if I can't get into the top 8, and I'm 100% sure nobody is doing that in this draft. There's three picks in this draft and Masai's very good at drafting so I think we'll get somebody good at 20 and 37. I definitely agree that they need a new coach though.
