Have no idea when my family got our first flat screen. But with those prices, it must have been the 2000's

Yeah that sounds about right on the price. I never owned one until around 07 or 08. I still had it in 2020, but some of the pixels went out. It was a Sylvania. I gave it to my brother lol. I should ask if if he still.has it. Then the second one i got was a little 19 inch Samsung around 2010 or 11. I still have it and use it as a monitor. That was the first true HD 1080p TV I owned.

I didn’t get one until like 08. It was a 32” and cost like $500. Now you can get a 65” for $329…
