There are some important variables to consider, like the fact that the ballot will be stacked and dem turnout will likely be peak this time around in GA. But Republicans have done just fine with "celebs", so why stop now?
Populism will do that to you. I was a Bernie supporter though, donated, phones, door to door. As a SocDem, I saw him as the most effective tool for finally getting people off the couch, and finally using a bully pulpit to flip seats both red and blue but we saw how that turned out, no one voted. But yeah, there were a lot of dumb people on that train.

I went to Kroger today and saw at least 8 Herschel For Senate bumper stickers. He is going to get a LOT of votes. He has a very good shot at winning.
Where? White area? No one black I know will vote for him. We got Warnock. I could see a few contrarians doing it. It’s funny that Georgia republicans think so lowly of black voters they would nominate him. In fact I wonder how white republicans will vote for him. They might actually depress their numbers by forcing them to vote for a black republican

Based on the record-settting voter turnout for the Georgia GOP Primary earlier this week, I can see Walker winning the general election, despite how dumb he may sound, just because of how big a Red Wave it's gonna be in November:
Plus every Georgia general election poll I've seen this year has Walker beating Warnock.
