I remember as a kid having a gameboy color while everyone else had the game boy advance. I was bummed bc of all the great games that was dropping at the time and I couldn't play any. Then i don't remember how but then i found visual boy advance. :blessed: I damn near played every gameboy game worth playing with that. Then starting my emulation game up and played everything from a PS 1 to ps2, n64 to a game cube. Knocking out legendary games without dropping a dime.:banderas:

I remember back in 98/99 when I came home from school one day and I went into my room that I shared with my Brother....I see our computer screen and it was the Mario 64 intro screen where you could move around the hand and pinch his face around.....My reaction was :dwillhuh: I was like "what the hell is this bro?" and his response was just simply "Nintendo 64 :youngsabo:". Now mind you since it was Nintendo 64 and this was the late 90s it ran like shyt on our computer which was a windows 95 at the time. Mario 64 ran at like 2fps but it was the fact that it was on my computer and I was actually able to download an N64 game for free on my pc....That night I was AOL searching "emulators" and "roms" and just had a field day with Gameboy and Super Nintendo games. I probably downloaded 10 different Dragonball Z Super Nintendo games that came out in Japan only. The rest is history.

Around 99-2000 similar to the OP i heard a kid talking bout emulating a pokemon game. When he told me about ROMs my first thought was that your computers printer somehow would print a cartridge. :skip:

After I found out though, I was eating. I had played Final Fantasy 7 and 8....but I didnt know bout all them gems on the SNES:whew:

I only had a regular NES and Genesis so a whole new library of games had just opened up:blessed:
