Trailer hooked me. But I understand the criticisms and agree for the most part. They should have recast bp. I wanted a male king. Didn't nobody ask for girl power.

My first thoughts are:

1- Chadwick died. They kinda had no choice to go w/ a female based plot line.

2- Black Panther intensified if not sparked the African vs black American schism, which snowballed into the “ADOS/FBA” movement —-which is sad af a damn movie did all that—-and now BP2 will take the already festering gender war to another stratosphere. Permanent damage.

Marvel has no equity in or knowledge of the small cracks and weaknesses in the community, nor would they even care what damage a billion dollar movie can cause to the ideologically to black folk. But yea this is gonna be a haymaker
