First Venom and now The Joker. So which comic book movie is next?

Which comic book movie will be made about the antagonist without having the protagonist?

Venom focused on its origin without Peter Parker / Spider-Man and looks like the Joker will be featured without Batman though they may feature/reference the Wayne family.

Technically you could include Suicide Squad in this list. Anyway, storywise Doctor Doom offers the most potential. Lots of room in his backstory to make a good solo story (think Triumph & Torment, or even his journey around the world to attain powerful magic after the accident and take over Latveria) that doesn't require the Fantastic Four to be included.

Cool, though I think this greatly takes away from the origin of the stories without the protagonist.

Thanks could have been a great study all its own but with Avengers turned out to be great

Magneto set in World War II. They dabbled with it in a couple previous X-Men movies but they never went all the way. There's a lot of adult oriented story lines especially with the X-Men that could be explored... Will they? I don't know..
