Everyone realizes there's no benefit to finishing with the worst record, right? New system means bottom 3 teams all have the same odds. And even then, their odds are small enough that there's actually a better chance the #1 pick will go to a 4-14 team than that it will go to a 1-3 team.

It's still slightly better to finish with the 3rd-worst record than to finish with the 4th-worst record, but only slightly. Thus it shouldn't surprise you if the pick ends up not going to the worst tankers.

Still on pace to finish top 3 in worst record :youngsabo:
Harden 70% chance of returning, Wembanyama and an additional 4 years of top 3 picks from the Nets :dead:
Our entire team on rookie contracts so we can pay really good vets to pair with our young guns :mjlol:

The Mavericks won 38 games -- 13 fewer games than this projection.

The Thunder won 40 games -- 16 more games than this projection.

The Bucks won 58 games -- 9 more games than this projection. They led the league in wins.

The Knicks won 47 games -- 7 more games than this projection. And considering how much I bashed them this season, I have to give them credit for playing relatively well.

The Kings won 48 games -- 16 more games than this projection. That's absolutely phenomenal. Tremendous job by Mike Brown.
