The Truth
I mean it's all logic. You make music that invites violence at venues and doesn't chart all that well. Not many plaques, radio spins or shows. Maybe YouTube and Spotify got them. The only thing it pays out is clout mostly. Doing it to impress other men who are also enamored by street life.

The hottest rappers in the game are street rappers but they are not the highest earners. It's the Kendricks, Drakes, Coles and then the futures etc. If you an artist aiming to solely please the streets will eventually have you dusty. The Kanye/50 cent face off what suposed to dead the reliance on street appeal for rap artists but most still have an attachment to trying to be on that side of the fence. When you can have street content without being entrenched in that entirely. Lack of diversity. Drill had the most influence as a genre of rap after trap but it completely underperformed on every chart compared to its large influence. From the UK to Canada to US. It was the gen z style of choice. The numbers should have been undeniable.
Hoes like the shyt :unimpressed:
