Fixed my headset, brehs

my xbox one stereo headset all of a sudden wouldn't pick up sound. I could hear others but I couldn't speak to them.

I googled troubleshooting tips thru Microsoft's website, but they weren't any help. Found a comment on ifixit that led me to some settings I never seen before

there is literally an option to turn your mic on saved my ass some $

1 Go to settings

2 Kinect and devices

3 controller

4 other options

5 volume

6 at top of list is a button to turn mic on
