Bulls and I don't even see how this is debatable.

You can't separate the player from the team, that's ridiculous. He wasn't playing 1 on 1. People tuned into Bulls games to see Jordan. Way more eyeballs on the Bulls anyway given that they were always playing the nationally televised games multiple times a month. Unless you lived in Dallas area or near a team in the NFC East, you might at most see 5 Cowboy games a year.

I think it comes down to whether you think bandwagon player fans should count towards a team’s actual fanbase

If the only reason you care about a team is bc of one player and the minute he’s gone you toss them to the side, did you really care about that team?

It’s a harmless discussion tho
