My HP printer took 10 minutes to warm up just to print 2 pages of directions.

U young nikkas better be nice to us old heads when them satellites go dark and need some back in my day advice

Meeting broads on myspace that were more than 15 miles had nikkas printers running out of ink mad quick

:russ:

Didn't even have a printer in the late 90's/early 00's. Had to catch a ride to the library with a pocket full of dimes just to print.

growing up before GPS or even Mapquest you either had to learn how to read a paper map which was a common every day skill that just about everybody could do (like balancing a check book or other things that no one really has to do any more) if you didn't know where you were going, or simply... know where you were going. A big thing was learning which direction was which when you were a kid. I'm amazed that people today even adults dont know which way North, East, etc... is. one of the first things i learned when i was a kid cross streets go east/west avenues go south/north. even numbers on the north side of the street, etc... shyt like that. its different everywhere but learning how where you live is laid out and which direction is which was considered common sense at one point. city planners existed for a reason...

I get :hhh:at some of my friends driving around the city they have spent their whole lives in with a GPS on. it's ridiculous. how would you not know by now. some people just don't pay attention to shyt

mapquest..had to print that shyt out and hope we took the right directions

Ummm Mapquest ain't primitive enough to be an answer to this question Breh.

The answer is DIRECTIONS.

And they usually sucked.

I have lived in both eras and I was wondering to myself recently "how in the fukk did we do this shyt without computers/gps?"

I just knew where I was going. :mjpls:

On the reala, that's one thing I got from Dad.
He just used to drive nowhere. He would take the car, listen to music and just drive and figure out where chit was
and what streets went where. When I started driving, I would do the same thing...just take the long way home some nights
and learn different ways to get places.

That's something I would recommend to the young'uns (especially if you move somewhere
(especially if you gon' be in the street))...to learn the major streets and backstreets and areas you gonna be around,
'cause you never know when
you might have to take the back way.

I do this now but I walk.

I learned how to read maps after gps lol. Man I don’t miss the Mapquest days though. Especially going somewhere at night trying to read the directions and shyt. I had many adventures with Mapquest when I used to shoot high school football
