I was messing with an Indian shorty a lil bit before the pandemic. She broke it down for me

Her Family owned several subways. What they do is 2 or 3 people from the family get a high income career…. become a doctor, engineer, IT etc then they stack up to buy a franchise. Bring all their family over then employ them at the store. This comes with working 60-80 hours a week, robberies, a$$hole customers, supply chain issues etc

Her dad “retired” but would still have to work 20 or so hours a week if one of the family members called in. Pulling in close to 300k a year in profit he’d still be making sandwiches

They want to sell the franchise a few years later? They sell it to family friend or someone at the mosque / temple they go to
