That's one reason I couldn't play organized hs basketball, the fukking coach was an a$$hole, I can't tolerate another grown man screaming and spitting in my face without me layin him the fukk out, but that's just me

In the military they are preparing you to defend this country, and the potential for life and death confrontations involving not only yourself but your fellow soldiers. Rough treatment from superiors is expected and comes with the territory.
This is basketball, a game and a sport where physical violence is explicitly forbidden and controlled in game. Had any of his players done a 1/10 of what Rice did to them in practice, they would lose their scholarships on the the spot. Rice is simply a power mad coach who demands from his players, what he doesnt demand for himself. Hes failure and a tyrant. Classic small man complex, bully.

and they were brought to school officials awhile ago that's why he got suspended in December . He deserved to get fired anger management or not you can't hit students ....can a teacher smack a kid when he does bad on a test? They can be strict yell etc but he crossed the line

Yeah but I'm just not sure how good a wholly recruited Kyle Flood team will look like, guess I have to wait 3 years to see whether it ends good.
Now with the basketball team, if they could get someone with the last name Hurley, we'd have Jersey recruiting on lock and actually be able to keep some kids in-state.

Videos were from earlier this season, so yeah I'd say that's recent. And I bet he did stop doing it -- to a certain extent -- but doesn't take away the fact he was doing it in the first place.
He had to be fired because of media pressure.
And the videos were leaked from an assistant coach who was acting as a whistleblower and I believe he was fired, because he was attempting to whistleblow.
